Ms. Lily Ni, General Manager of Shunho Creative, took the stage at SPS 2024 to discuss a critical topic: Transmet®: The green future of metallic Packaging.
There seem to be some misunderstandings and prejudices against packaging materials with a metallic look. To some people, glittering means polluting, not eco-friendly at least. In the hope that more people would be able to recognize and have a good understanding of Transfer Metallized Paper, Ms.Ni introduced a fantastic and environment-friendly material: Transmet®, which will not only be used in a wider range of fields but also work well to make its contribution to the protection of our planet.
With coating, aluminum layer, and water-based adhesive on the PET film, then the effect is transferred to the base board, after the procedure of settlement, the film will be removed, and finally, Transmet® is released. Thanks to the unique structure Transmet® is degradable, recyclable, and without any PET film, which will make significant improvements to the sustainable packaging industry.
Transmet® is virtually environment-friendly, it will be degraded within 45 days and had got the certification from OK COMPOST Industrial and OK COMPOST Home. And also, it is recyclable.
Ms.Ni also interpreted the 4R Principles of TramsMet®: Reuse, Reduce, Recovery, and Responsibility.
