TransMet®－Shunho Creative’s metalized board passed SGS’s Food Contact Safe Material Test

Packaging materials usually have contacts to food. It could harm our health if there is any hazardous substance shifting from package to food.

In Oct 2022, Shunho Creative’s TransMet® board passed the test of “Food Contact Material” of National standards for food safety of China. It means our TransMet® products can be safely used for food packaging.

Shunho Creative always attaches great importance to the certification and application of its products in different business areas. Since the beginning of the company, Shunho Creative has started its effort of certifying the safe usage of TransMet® board on food package. We have commissioned organizations such as SQT, TUV, INTERTEK and so on to do their tests on TransMet® board according to FDA and EU standards to prove our paperboard can be safely used in food package.

As a global leading company in metalized paperboard, Shunho Creative also pays great attention to legislations regarding food safety. Therefore, we commissioned SGS to file a food safety report on TransMet® board in accordance with Chinese national standards (GB486-2022),
